For a number of weeks starting of February 28, a Section of “Il Mattino” newspaper was dedicated to “Tales from the Archives”.

The section contained previously unpublished stories written by journalists from the newspaper which were inspired by the documents in the Historical Archives. These documents are from the ancient Neapolitan public banks, and are the source of a patrimony of memories.

A series of facts and characters which are the result of research done by Eduardo Nappi,the director of the Archives , contain the spark and the opportunity for the invention of new stories, which is also part of the mission of the Museum ilCartastorie.
