The “Quaderni dell'Archivio Storico (nuova serie online) or “Notebooks from the Historical Archives” (new online edition) intends to pursue the objectives of the Banco di Napoli Foundation according to the original mission for which the journal was founded in 1950 under the name of “Bollettino dell'Archivio Storico del Banco di Napoli”, later known as “Quaderni” in 1997. These goals have been established in order to promote the importance of the Foundation Archives and to allow for the myriad aspects of culture and philanthropy which have historically been created, along with the tightly woven and fruitful networks that have connected Southern Italy with the rest of the Mediterranean and Europe.
